Crispy fries layered with smashed beef, white cheddar sauce, pickles, and jalapeños for bold, satisfying flavor.

# Ingredients:

Fries and Burger Topping

01 - 1 (26 oz) package frozen crispy fries
02 - Kosher salt, to taste
03 - Black pepper, to taste
04 - 1/2 lb (227 g) ground beef, 80/20 lean
05 - Thin jalapeño slices, for garnish
06 - Pickles, whole or diced, for garnish

Cheese Sauce

07 - 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
08 - 1 cup (240 ml) milk
09 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter
10 - 2 1/2 cups grated white cheddar cheese

Special Sauce

11 - 2 tbsp freshly shredded onion
12 - 1 cup mayonnaise
13 - 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
14 - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
15 - 2 tbsp ketchup
16 - 2 tbsp dill relish
17 - 1 tsp honey

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C). Arrange frozen crispy fries in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, flipping once halfway through to ensure even crispness. For optimal results, follow package instructions if they differ.
02 - Season ground beef with kosher salt and black pepper. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Divide beef into six equal portions and press each into thin patties using a spatula or jar. Cook until browned on the underside, then flip and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat.
03 - Place baked fries on an oven-safe platter or baking sheet. Break cooked patties into pieces and distribute evenly over fries. Drizzle with prepared cheese sauce, then return to the oven for 5 to 10 minutes until heated through and flavors meld.
04 - Remove assembly from oven. Drizzle with special sauce, then top with pickles and thin jalapeño slices. Serve immediately to enjoy the contrast of textures and flavors.

# Notes:

01 - For extra browning, add a small amount of butter or oil to the skillet when cooking the patties.
02 - Adjust jalapeño quantity to control spiciness.
