01 -
Preheat the oven to 325°F (163°C). Thoroughly grease and flour a 10-inch Bundt pan. Set aside.
02 -
In a medium bowl, beat together cream cheese, granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Set aside.
03 -
In a large bowl, cream softened butter and cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add granulated sugar and beat for 4 to 5 minutes until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Incorporate vanilla extract and sour cream. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt together. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture, folding in gently. Finally, fold in finely chopped strawberries.
04 -
Spread half of the pound cake batter evenly into the prepared Bundt pan. Carefully spoon the cheesecake layer over the batter without touching the pan edges. Top with remaining pound cake batter and smooth the surface.
05 -
Bake for 75 to 85 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the cake portion comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 20 minutes before removing. Cool completely on a wire rack.
06 -
Whisk together powdered sugar, strawberry puree, and vanilla extract until smooth. Drizzle glaze over the cooled cake before serving.
