Strawberry Ginger Creamy Smoothie (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Smoothie Base

01 - 1 cup (about 145g) fresh or frozen strawberries
02 - 1 cup (240ml) coconut probiotic yogurt
03 - 0.5 inch (1.5cm) fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
04 - 1 tablespoon (10g) hemp seeds
05 - 1 teaspoon (5ml) vanilla extract

# Instructions:

01 - Wash and hull strawberries if using fresh. Peel and finely chop the ginger. Measure all ingredients using standard US measuring cups and spoons.
02 - Add probiotic yogurt, strawberries, chopped ginger, hemp seeds, and vanilla extract to blender. For smoother blending, add wet ingredients first.
03 - Blend mixture on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.
04 - If mixture is too thick, blend in a small amount of milk or water until optimal texture is reached.
05 - Taste and adjust sweetness if desired. Pour smoothie into a tall glass.
06 - Garnish with additional hemp seeds or bee pollen if desired. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - For added nutrition, blend in half an avocado or a tablespoon of almond butter. You may use any probiotic yogurt or even kefir. Ground flaxseed or chia seeds are possible alternatives to hemp seeds.
02 - To increase protein content, incorporate a scoop of vanilla protein powder.
03 - Prepared smoothie can be stored in a lidded cup and refrigerated for up to one day.
