# Ingredients:

→ Main filling ingredients

01 - 1 lb lean ground beef
02 - 1 package (1 oz) taco seasoning mix
03 - 1 can (10 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles, with juices
04 - 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, grated
05 - 1 bottle (8 oz) ranch dressing

→ For serving

06 - 5 packages (15 count each) frozen phyllo cup shells

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) to ensure it is ready when the bites are assembled.
02 - Brown the lean ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until fully cooked and no longer pink. Drain excess fat.
03 - Add the taco seasoning mix and diced tomatoes with green chiles, including juices, to the skillet. Simmer for 5 minutes to meld flavors.
04 - In a large mixing bowl, combine grated sharp cheddar cheese and ranch dressing until smooth.
05 - Add the seasoned taco meat to the cheese and ranch mixture, stirring until evenly combined into a creamy filling.
06 - Place a generous spoonful of the taco ranch mixture into each frozen phyllo cup shell without thawing.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 13 minutes if using frozen shells, or 8 to 10 minutes if thawed, until filling is hot and bubbly and shells are golden and crisp.
08 - Let the bites cool for 1 to 2 minutes before serving warm at gatherings.

# Notes:

01 - Draining the fat from cooked beef prevents greasy filling and improves texture.
