                Preheat the oven to 220°C.

                In a mixing bowl, combine self-rising flour with the selected liquid. Stir until a soft dough forms.

                Transfer dough to a lightly floured surface and gently knead several times until smooth.

                Pat the dough to approximately 2.5 cm thickness.

                Use a biscuit cutter or a round glass to cut out biscuit portions.

                Place biscuit portions onto a baking sheet, leaving space between each.
