Classic Patty Melt Secret Sauce (Printer-Friendly Version)

# What You'll Need:

→ Patty Melt

01 - 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
02 - 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
03 - Salt and pepper, to taste
04 - 4 slices Swiss cheese
05 - 4 slices rye or sourdough bread
06 - 1 medium onion, thinly sliced
07 - 2 tablespoons butter, softened
08 - 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

→ Secret Sauce

09 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
10 - 2 tablespoons ketchup
11 - 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
12 - 1 tablespoon pickle relish
13 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
14 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
15 - Salt and pepper, to taste

# Let's Cook!:

01 - Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, Dijon, relish, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper in a bowl. Refrigerate
02 - Mix ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 patties slightly larger than bread slices
03 - Cook sliced onions in oil over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Set aside
04 - Cook patties 3-4 minutes per side in same skillet. Top with cheese while cooking second side
05 - Butter bread slices and toast in separate skillet until golden brown on both sides
06 - Spread secret sauce on unbuttered sides, add cheesy patties and onions between bread slices
07 - Grill assembled sandwiches 3-4 minutes per side until crispy, pressing down slightly
