Easy Wonton Cheese Sticks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 8 mozzarella string cheeses (or experiment with different flavors!)
02 - 24 wonton wrappers
03 - 1 egg white whisked with 2 teaspoons water
04 - Vegetable oil (for frying)
05 - Coarse salt
06 - Fresh grated Parmesan cheese
07 - Marinara sauce (for dipping)

# Instructions:

01 - Cut your string cheese into 3 equal pieces
02 - Place a wonton wrapper in front of you in the shape of a diamond. Brush egg white on the surface. Place string cheese in the center. Fold in the north and south diamond corners then roll the eastern corner around the cheese until completely covered. Seal the corners
03 - If the seals don't feel secure, brush with a little more egg white and press together. Repeat with remaining cheese and wrappers
04 - Heat several inches of oil in a deep pot to about 375 degrees. Carefully drop mozzarella sticks into the oil and fry until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes
05 - Remove from oil and place on a paper towel lined plate. Sprinkle with sea salt and grated Parmesan. Serve HOT with warm marinara sauce for dipping

# Notes:

01 - Wonton wrappers are usually found with the tofu in the produce section
02 - Best served immediately while cheese is hot and melted
03 - Try different flavored string cheese for variety
