Apple Cinnamon Tea, Iced (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 cups water
02 - 4 black tea bags or loose-leaf tea
03 - 1 large apple, thinly sliced
04 - 2 cinnamon sticks
05 - 1 inch fresh ginger, grated
06 - 1/4 cup honey, or to taste
07 - Ice cubes, for the iced version

→ Optional Garnish

08 - Additional apple slices
09 - Cinnamon sticks

# Instructions:

01 - Bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Remove from heat, add black tea bags, and let steep for about 5 minutes.
02 - After steeping, remove the tea bags and add the thinly sliced apple, cinnamon sticks, and grated ginger to the hot tea. Allow the mixture to steep for an additional 10 minutes to infuse the flavors. Stir in honey while the tea is still warm.
03 - Remove the cinnamon sticks. If serving hot, the tea is now ready to be poured and served.
04 - To make the iced version, let the tea cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until cold. Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled tea over the ice, and add apple slices to each glass. Garnish with a fresh apple slice and a cinnamon stick for presentation.

# Notes:

01 - For a stronger flavor, allow the apple and spices to steep longer before serving.
