Cold Matcha Green Tea Drinks (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - 1 teaspoon matcha green tea powder
02 - 1 quart cold water
03 - 1 lime, sliced into rounds
04 - 1 apple, thinly sliced
05 - A handful of fresh mint leaves
06 - 1 to 3 teaspoons natural maple syrup, to taste
07 - Ice cubes, as needed

# Instructions:

01 - Place matcha green tea powder in a small bowl. Add 1/3 cup hot water and whisk vigorously until fully dissolved.
02 - Add desired amount of maple syrup to the dissolved matcha, stirring until fully incorporated.
03 - Pour the matcha mixture into a large pitcher and add cold water, leaving space for ice cubes.
04 - Add sliced lime, apple, fresh mint leaves, and ice cubes to the pitcher.
05 - Gently stir the beverage to combine flavors thoroughly. Serve immediately in glasses garnished with fruit slices and mint.

# Notes:

01 - Fresh berries can substitute for apple for a different flavor profile.
02 - For a lower carbohydrate drink, replace maple syrup with stevia or monk fruit extract.
