Homemade Peppermint Patties (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

01 - ¾ cup sweetened condensed milk
02 - 1 ½ teaspoons peppermint extract
03 - 4 cups powdered sugar

→ Coating

04 - 1 pound chocolate almond bark
05 - Sprinkles, optional

# Instructions:

01 - Mix the sweetened condensed milk and peppermint extract in a large bowl.
02 - Using an electric mixer, gradually mix in the powdered sugar until a stiff, non-sticky dough forms.
03 - Roll the dough into balls, place them on a parchment-lined tray, and flatten into 2-inch discs approximately 1/4 inch thick.
04 - Place the tray in the freezer and freeze the discs for about one hour.
05 - Melt the chocolate almond bark in the microwave in 30-second intervals until smooth.
06 - Dip each peppermint patty into the melted chocolate, scrape off excess chocolate, and place it back onto the parchment paper. Optionally, top the patties with sprinkles.
