Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti or fettuccine and cook until al dente, approximately 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Season both sides of salmon fillets with salt and black pepper. Heat extra virgin olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for 4–5 minutes per side, or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily. Remove salmon from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until aromatic but not browned.

Return the cooked pasta to the skillet. Add freshly squeezed lemon juice and chopped dill. Gently toss to combine. Break cooked salmon into large flakes and fold into pasta mixture.

Taste and adjust seasoning with additional salt or pepper as needed. Serve immediately, garnished with extra dill if desired.
