Pink Lavender Lemonade Refreshment (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 100 grams granulated sugar
02 - 480 millilitres fresh Meyer lemon juice
03 - 480 millilitres water
04 - 480 millilitres ice-cold water
05 - 2 fresh lavender sprigs
06 - 6 large ripe strawberries

→ Optional

07 - A few drops food grade lavender oil, if desired

# Instructions:

01 - Combine sugar, lemon juice, and 480 millilitres water in a saucepan. Bring to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
02 - Remove saucepan from heat. Add lavender sprigs and roughly sliced strawberries. Allow mixture to steep for 15 minutes.
03 - Strain the mixture into a large pitcher, discarding solids. Add 480 millilitres ice-cold water and, if desired, a few drops of food grade lavender oil. Stir well.
04 - Pour over glasses filled with ice and serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Use Meyer lemons for a sweeter, floral flavour profile; regular lemons are also suitable. Adjust sugar to taste if using regular lemons.
