Seasoned Air Fryer Burgers (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Beef Mixture

01 - 1 pound lean ground beef (80% lean, 20% fat)
02 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
03 - 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
04 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
05 - 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
06 - 1/4 cup barbecue sauce (optional)

→ Serving Components

07 - 4 burger buns
08 - Desired toppings and condiments

# Instructions:

01 - In a medium bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder until evenly incorporated.
02 - Divide the mixture into four equal portions. Form each portion into a patty approximately 1/2 inch thick, creating a small indentation in the center of each patty to promote even cooking. Optionally, brush with barbecue sauce.
03 - Set the air fryer to 370°F and allow it to preheat fully before cooking the patties.
04 - Place patties in a single layer inside the air fryer basket and cook for 6 minutes.
05 - Flip each patty and cook for an additional 3 to 5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F to ensure safe doneness.
06 - If using cheese, place a slice on each cooked patty and air fry for 1 more minute to allow melting.
07 - Remove patties from the air fryer and place each on a burger bun. Add desired toppings and condiments before serving.

# Notes:

01 - Creating an indentation in the center of each patty prevents puffing and promotes even cooking.
02 - Cooking to an internal temperature of 160°F guarantees food safety for ground beef.
