BBQ Chicken Crispy Tostadas (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Tostada Base

01 - 8 tostada shells or 8 corn tortillas, brushed lightly with olive oil and baked for 3 to 5 minutes per side until crisp

→ Protein

02 - 3 cups cooked and shredded chicken

→ Sauce

03 - 1 1/2 cups barbecue sauce, divided

→ Cheese

04 - 2 cups shredded cheese, such as mozzarella, cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend

→ Garnish

05 - 3 green onions, thinly sliced (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. Arrange tostada shells or prepared baked tortillas in a single layer on two rimmed baking sheets.
02 - In a mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of cooked and shredded chicken with 1 cup of barbecue sauce. Toss thoroughly to ensure the chicken is evenly coated.
03 - Distribute the barbecue chicken mixture evenly over each tostada shell. Top each with approximately 1/4 cup shredded cheese.
04 - Bake the assembled tostadas for 6 to 8 minutes, until the cheese is fully melted.
05 - Remove from the oven. Drizzle evenly with the reserved 1/2 cup barbecue sauce and sprinkle with thinly sliced green onions, if using. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - To achieve extra crisp tostadas, bake corn tortillas lightly brushed with olive oil instead of using pre-packaged shells.
