→ Topping

07 - 1/3 cup hot pepper jelly
08 - Fresh thyme leaves or chopped parsley for garnish (optional)

# Instructions:

01 - In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese and softened butter until smooth and creamy.
02 - Mix in shredded sharp cheddar cheese until fully incorporated into the creamy base.
03 - Blend in all-purpose flour, salt, and optional garlic powder until a soft dough forms.
04 - Wrap the dough tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.
05 - Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
06 - Roll chilled dough into 1-inch diameter balls and arrange them 2 inches apart on the prepared sheet.
07 - Press a thumb gently into the center of each ball to form an indentation.
08 - Spoon approximately 1/2 teaspoon of hot pepper jelly into each thumbprint indentation.
