# Ingredients:

→ Dry Ingredients

01 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 tsp baking powder
03 - 1/2 tsp salt

→ Wet Ingredients

04 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
05 - 1 cup granulated sugar
06 - 1 large egg
07 - 1 tsp vanilla extract

→ Cinnamon Sugar Topping

08 - 2 tsp ground cinnamon
09 - 2 tbsp granulated sugar

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a baking pan (8×8-inch or similar) or line it with parchment paper.
02 - In a bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
03 - In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
04 - Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
06 - Press the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan, ensuring the dough is spread out evenly.
07 - In a small bowl, mix together the ground cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the dough.
08 - Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
09 - Allow the cookie bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting them into squares or bars.
