03 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
06 - 2 cups powdered sugar
07 - 2 cups chocolate chips (semi-sweet recommended)
08 - 2 tablespoons shortening

# Instructions:

01 - Spray a 9×13-inch glass baking dish with non-stick spray.
02 - Place 2 whole graham cracker sheets in a Ziploc bag and crush them into fine crumbs using a meat mallet or the bottom of a glass. Set aside for garnish.
03 - In a large bowl, mix peanut butter, butter, vanilla, and salt until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar, stirring until combined.
04 - In a microwave-safe bowl, heat chocolate chips and shortening in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until melted and smooth. Do not overheat.
05 - Lay 6 whole graham cracker sheets on the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Pour ⅓ of the melted chocolate over the graham crackers, spreading evenly.
06 - Flatten the peanut butter mixture with your hands and layer it on top of the chocolate, covering the surface. Pour another ⅓ of the chocolate over the peanut butter layer.
07 - Add another layer of 6 whole graham crackers. Pour the remaining chocolate over the top and spread evenly.
08 - Sprinkle crushed graham crackers over the top. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour until set.
09 - Slice into squares and enjoy!
