Crispy Sweet Potato Wedges (Print Version)

01 - 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled (or unpeeled) and cut into wedges
02 - 3 tablespoons olive oil
03 - 1 teaspoon salt
04 - 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1/2 teaspoon sugar
06 - 1/2 tablespoon Italian seasoning
07 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

# Instructions:

01 - Preheat oven to 450°F. Line a large baking sheet with tinfoil (shiny side up) and place a baking rack on top
02 - Peel sweet potatoes if preferred and cut off pointy ends. Slice in half lengthwise, then cut each piece into wedges
03 - Place wedges in a large bowl. Add olive oil, salt, garlic powder, sugar, Italian seasoning, and black pepper. Mix well to coat evenly
04 - Arrange wedges in a single layer on prepared baking sheet. Bake for 30 minutes
05 - Turn on broiler and continue baking for 3-5 minutes until well browned and crispy. Watch carefully to prevent burning
06 - Cool wedges on pan for 5 minutes before serving
