Garlic Butter Brazilian Steak (Print Version)

# Ingredients:

→ Main Components

01 - 2 lbs skirt steak
02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Black pepper, to taste

→ Garlic Butter and Garnish

04 - 6 teaspoons garlic, minced
05 - 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
06 - 1/2 cup fresh parsley, finely chopped

# Instructions:

01 - Trim and cut the skirt steak to fit your skillet. Pat steak dry with paper towels and season both sides liberally with salt and black pepper.
02 - Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat until hot. Add a small amount of neutral oil. Sear steak slices for 2 to 3 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove steak from the skillet and let rest on a plate.
03 - In a separate skillet over low heat, melt butter. Add minced garlic and stir continuously with a spatula until aromatic and golden, about 1 to 2 minutes. Immediately transfer garlic butter to a bowl to prevent burning.
04 - Slice steak against the grain into thin strips. Arrange on a serving platter, drizzle generously with garlic butter, and scatter chopped fresh parsley over the top. Serve immediately.

# Notes:

01 - Resting steak after cooking allows juices to redistribute, ensuring maximum tenderness.
02 - Finely chop parsley just before serving to preserve freshness and color.
