01 -
Put the grilled chicken on a platter, layer the pineapple rings on top, then sprinkle green onions and sesame seeds if you want.
02 -
Toss out the marinade that touched raw chicken.
03 -
Toss pineapple rings on the grill, cook both sides for around 2 or 3 minutes till they're sweet and have nice grill lines.
04 -
Grill your chicken for about 6 to 7 minutes on each side. Every once in a while, brush some of the leftover marinade on. Make sure it's cooked all the way through.
05 -
Take chicken out of the marinade and keep some of that marinade aside for brushing later.
06 -
Turn the grill up to medium-high and let it get hot.
07 -
Stick chicken in a zip-top bag or shallow dish, pour in the marinade, cover up, and pop it in the fridge for at least a couple hours, or all night for the best taste.
08 -
Grab a bowl and mix teriyaki sauce, pineapple juice, soy sauce, brown sugar, chopped garlic, ginger, and sesame oil together until they're blended.
