→ For the Chicken Tenders

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or 2 large chicken breasts cut into strips)
02 - Salt and pepper, to taste
03 - 1 cup all-purpose flour
04 - 1 teaspoon garlic powder
05 - 1 teaspoon onion powder
06 - 1 teaspoon paprika
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (optional)
08 - 2 large eggs
09 - 2 tablespoons milk
10 - 1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs (or regular breadcrumbs)
11 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
12 - Olive oil or vegetable oil (for frying or drizzling)

→ Optional Seasonings

13 - 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (for a spicy kick)
14 - 1 teaspoon dried thyme or dried basil
15 - 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

→ Dipping Sauces (Optional)

16 - Honey mustard
17 - Buffalo sauce
18 - Ranch dressing
19 - BBQ sauce
20 - Sweet and sour sauce

# Instructions:

01 - Cut chicken breasts into strips about 1-1.5 inches wide. Season with salt and pepper on both sides.
02 - In first bowl, mix flour with seasonings. In second bowl, beat eggs with milk. In third bowl, combine panko breadcrumbs and Parmesan cheese.
03 - Dredge each chicken strip in flour, then egg mixture, then breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
04 - Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook tenders in batches, 3-4 minutes per side until golden and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
05 - Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Place breaded tenders on lined baking sheet. Optionally drizzle with oil. Bake 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
06 - For fried tenders, drain on paper towels. Let rest briefly before serving.
07 - Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauces. Optionally garnish with fresh herbs or extra Parmesan.

# Notes:

01 - Panko breadcrumbs create an extra crispy coating compared to regular breadcrumbs.
02 - You can use pre-cut chicken tenders instead of slicing whole breasts to save time.
03 - For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in buttermilk for a few hours before breading.
04 - The baked version is a healthier alternative to traditional fried chicken tenders.
